9 stycznia 2018 r. zmarł prof. zw. dr hab. dr h.c. multi Bogusław Banaszak – twórca i Dziekan Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego. Wybitny konstytucjonalista, członek Rady Legislacyjnej przy Prezesie Rady Ministrów, członek tytularny Grupy Niezależnych Ekspertów do spraw Europejskiej Karty Samorządu Terytorialnego Rady Europy - Strasburg (Group of Independent Experts on the European Charter of Local Self-Government – Council of Europe), członek Europejskiej Komisji na rzecz Demokracji przez Prawo (tzw. Komisja Wenecka) oraz sędzia Trybunału Stanu.

Od 1992 r. stale współpracował ze służbami legislacyjnymi Parlamentu RP, jest autorem kilkudziesięciu ekspertyz dla Senatu i Sejmu. Był także członkiem Komisji Kodyfikacyjnej Prawa Rodzinnego działającej przy Rzeczniku Praw Dziecka (od 2013 r.).

Profesor Bogusław Banaszak jest doktorem honoris causa Uniwersytetu w Pecs (Węgry - 2004), Uniwersytetu w Alba Julii (Rumunia – 2009), Uniwersytetu w Pitesti (Rumunia – 2010) i Kijowskiego Uniwersytetu Prawa (Ukraina 2011).

Zielonogórskie środowisko akademickie poniosło ogromną stratę…

 

Msza żałobna zostanie odprawiona w czwartek, 18 stycznia 2018 r. o godz. 12.00 w kościele w Głosce. Po mszy św. nastąpi odprowadzenie ciała zmarłego na cmentarz w Miękini.

 

Prof. dr hab. Bogusław Banaszak urodził się we Wrocławiu 3 lutego 1955 r. Jego rodzice byli lekarzami. Zainteresowania badawcze profesora to: prawo konstytucyjne, prawo parlamentarne, prawa człowieka. Był profesorem zwyczajnym Uniwersytetu Zielonogórskiego i Dziekanem Wydziału Prawa i Administracji (od 2014 r.) oraz profesorem Państwowej Wyższej Szkoły Zawodowej im. Witelona w Legnicy (od 2005 r.). Od 2014 r. kierował Katedrą Prawa Konstytucyjnego na UZ. W latach 1977-2014 był zatrudniony w charakterze pracownika naukowo-dydaktycznego na Wydziale Prawa Administracji i Ekonomii Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego. Początkowo przez rok był asystentem stażystą, następnie asystentem i starszym asystentem. W 1983 r. obronił rozprawę doktorską i po uzyskaniu stopnia doktora nauk prawnych został w 1984 r. adiunktem. W 1991 r. zrobił habilitację. W 1994 r. został zatrudniony na stanowisku profesora nadzwyczajnego Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego. W 1998 r. otrzymał tytuł profesora nauk prawnych. W latach 1999-2014 był profesorem zwyczajnym Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego. W latach 2002-2014 kierował Katedrą Prawa Konstytucyjnego na Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim. W latach 1998-2008 był profesorem na Wydziale Prawa Europejskiego Uniwersytetu Viadrina (Frankfurt nad Odrą), gdzie kierował Katedrą Polskiego Prawa Publicznego, a w latach 1995–2005 profesorem Wyższej Szkoły Zarządzania i Marketingu we Wrocławiu. Od maja 2006 r. do maja 2010 r. przewodniczył Radzie Legislacyjnej przy Prezesie Rady Ministrów. Od kwietnia 2016 r. jest członkiem tej Rady.

 

Był redaktorem Przeglądu Prawa i Administracji wydawanego we Wrocławiu (1996-2008), Przewodniczącym komitetu redakcyjnego Przeglądu Legislacyjnego (od czerwca 2006 r. do czerwca 2010 r.), członkiem kolegiów (rad) redakcyjnych: Recht in Ost und West (Niemcy 1991-1998); Osteuropa Recht wydawanego w Kolonii (Niemcy) [od 1998 r.]; Humanistycznych Zeszytów Naukowych – Prawa Człowieka wydawanych w Katowicach (od 2000 r.); Studiów Wyborczych wydawanych w Łodzi (od 2006 r.), Közjogi Szemle kwartalnika wydawanego Budapeszcie (od 2008 r.), Annales Universitatis Apulensis. Series Jurisprudentia w Alba Julii – Rumunia (od 2008 r.), Pravo Ukrainy czasopisma wydawanego w Kijowie – Ukraina (od 2011 r.), Revista da Facultade de Direito de Sao Bernando do Campo - Sao Paulo, Brazylia (od grudnia 2011 r.), Commparative Law Review (czasopismo Wydziału Prawa i Administracji Uniwersytetu M. Kopernika w Toruniu - od czerwca 2013 r.). Radca Prawny. Zeszyty Naukowe (od listopada 2014 r.), Rocznika Stowarzyszenia Naukowców Polaków Litwy (od stycznia 2015 r.).

 

Był również Koordynatorem Szkoły Prawa Niemieckiego i Prawa Polskiego w latach 2002-2006 (wspólne przedsięwzięcie wydziałów prawa Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego i Uniwersytetu im. Humboldta w Berlinie), w latach 2006-2014 był pełnomocnikiem Dziekana ds. tej Szkoły. Był członkiem zarządu (Steering Commitee) Euro-Faculty w Rydze (1992-1998). Pełnił funkcję Prorektora Wyższej Szkoły Zarządzania i Bankowości we Wrocławiu (1999-2002), Prodziekana Wydziału Prawa, Administracji i Ekonomii (2002 r.) oraz eksperta Państwowej Komisji Akredytacyjnej (2010-2014).

 

Był także członkiem korespondentem hiszpańskiej Królewskiej Akademii Nauk Moralnych i Politycznych (od 2010 r.) oraz Europejskiej Akademii Nauki, Sztuki i Literatury w Paryżu (od 2004 r.) oraz członkiem Komitetu Nauk Prawnych Polskiej Akademii Nauk (od 2011 r.).

 

Ponadto był członkiem: Rady Doradczej do spraw Praw Człowieka przy Ministrze Spraw Zagranicznych (2000-2001), Rady Programowej Centrum Studiów Wyborczych UŁ i UMK (od października 2008 r.), Międzynarodowego Dyrektoriatu Doradczego (Advisory Directorate International) Amerykańskiego Instytutu Biograficznego (od 2009 r.).

 

Był członkiem następujących towarzystw naukowych: Polskiego Towarzystwa Prawa Konstytucyjnego (od 2000 r.), Europejskiego Stowarzyszenia Prawa Wyborczego (od 2004 r.), Polskiego Stowarzyszenia Prawa Europejskiego (od 2004 r.), Societas Iuris Publici Europaei (międzynarodowe towarzystwo naukowe, siedziba zarządu – Getynga) (od 2003 r.), Rady Rzecznika Praw Obywatelskich (2006-2010) i członkiem honorowym Instytutu Prawa Interdyscyplinarnego Fakultetu Prawa Uniwersytetu w Porto (Portugalia) (od 2006 r.) oraz (od 2011 r.) członkiem Światowego Stowarzyszenia Prawników (World Jurist Association).

 

W ciągu ostatnich kilkunastu lat wygłosił ponad 120 wykładów gościnnych na ponad dwudziestu uniwersytetach europejskich (Austria, Niemcy, Portugalia, Szwajcaria, Węgry, Wielka Brytania, Hiszpania, Ukraina) i amerykańskich (USA, Brazylia, Chile, Ekwador, Meksyk), a w semestrze letnim 1994 r. był profesorem gościnnym na Uniwersytecie Wiedeńskim. Jest autorem lub współautorem blisko stu referatów wygłaszanych na międzynarodowych konferencjach naukowych (Austria, Brazylia, Chile, Francja, Litwa, Łotwa, Niemcy, Rumunia, Syria, Szwajcaria, Ukraina, Węgry, Włochy, Tajwan) oraz autorem ponad 300 prac naukowych, wśród których są monografie, podręczniki, komentarze i studia oraz artykuły. Kilkadziesiąt z nich opublikowano za granicą (na Węgrzech, w Austrii, Brazylii, Niemczech, Francji, Chile, Korei Południowej, Holandii, Rumunii, we Włoszech). Tłumaczył na język polski 9 książek prawniczych i kilkadziesiąt artykułów głównie z języka niemieckiego, a kilka z angielskiego.

 

Został oznaczony: Złotym Krzyżem Zasługi RP (2001 r.) i Krzyżem Kawalerskim Orderu Odrodzenia Polski (2008), niemieckim Federalnym Krzyżem Zasługi na Wstędze (2008) oraz Wielkim Krzyżem Zasługi Republiki Austrii (2000), Wielką Złotą Odznaką Honorową za Zasługi dla Republiki Austrii (2007), Austriackim Krzyżem Honorowym Nauki i Sztuki I klasy, a także Orderem Sprawiedliwości I Stopnia Światowego Stowarzyszenia Prawników (2011).

 

Został dwukrotnie wyróżniony Nagrodami Indywidualnymi Ministra Edukacji Narodowej: w 2000 r. za podręcznik Prawo konstytucyjne i w 2004 r. za wydane w języku niemieckim Wprowadzenie do polskiego prawa konstytucyjnego. W tym samym roku został też wyróżniony austriacką nagrodą im. Leopolda Kunschaka za badania nad prawem austriackim i prawem konstytucyjnym państw demokratycznych, a ponadto kilkunastoma przyznawanymi co roku nagrodami JM Rektora Uniwersytetu Wrocławskiego za osiągnięcia naukowe, dydaktyczne i organizacyjne.

Wypromował 36 doktorów (w tym 5 w Niemczech) i ponad 400 magistrów.

 

 

 

 



We are deeply saddened to announce that Profesor Bogusław Banaszak – the founder and the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Zielona Góra passed away on 9th January, 2018. A distinguished constitutional law expert, a member of the Legislative Council at the Prime  Minister’s Office, a titular member  of the Group of Independent Experts on the European Charter of Local Self-Government – the Council of Europe- Strasbourg, a member of the European Commission for Democracy through Law ( the so called Venice Commission) and a member of the State Tribunal.

 

Professor Banaszak was  a member of the Committee for Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences (since 2011),  a corresponding member of the Spanish Royal Academy of Moral and Political Sciences (since 2010) and a member of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature in Paris ( since 2004). Since 1992 the Professor  regularly cooperated with legislative services of the Polish Sejm and Senat, he is the author of several dozens of evaluation reports for the Polish Sejm and Senat. Hewas  also a member of the Family Law Codification Committee at the Ombudsman for Children (since 2013).

Professor Banaszak was conferred the honorary doctorate (honoris causa) of the University of Pecs (Hungary-2004), the University of Alba Julia  (Romania-2008), the University of Pitesti (Romania-2010) and the Kiev University of Law (Ukraine- 2011).

The Zielona Góra academic milieu has suffered a tremendous  loss….

 

Professor Bogusław Banaszak was born in Wrocław on February 3rd,1955. His parents were doctors. The Professor’s  research areas comprise: constitutional law, parliamentary law and human rights. Professor Banaszak  held the title of  full professor of the University of Zielona Góra where was  the Dean of the Faculty of Law and Administration there ( since 2014) and the title of professor of the Witelon State Higher Vocational School in Legnica (since 205). Since 2014 He was   the Head of the Chair of Constitutional Law of the University of Zielona Góra. In the years 1977-2014 He worked as a lecturer and a researcher  at the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economy of the University of Wrocław.  He started as an assistant trainee, than an assistant  lecturer and finally a senior assistant lecturer. He defended his doctoral thesis in 1983 and was conferred a degree of PhD at law.  In 1984 the Professor  was appointed assistant professor. In 1991 He was conferred a habilitation degree ( a postdoctoral degree) and then in 1994 He was employed as associate professor at  the University of Wrocław. Four years later the Professor  crowned formally his academic career by receiving the title of Professor at Law and in 1999 He was nominated  full professor of the University of Wrocław. In the years 2002-2014 He was the Head of the Chair  of Constitutional Law of the University of Wrocław. In the years 1998-2008 He was Professor at the Faculty of European Law at the European University Viadrina in Frankfurt upon Oder where He was the Head of the Chair of Polish Public Law and from 1995 until 2005 He  held the professor position at the Higher School of Management and Marketing in Wrocław. From  May 2006 until May 2010 the Professor presided the Legislative Council at the Prime Minister’s Office and since 2016 he has been  a member of the Council.

 

From 1996 until 2008 the Professor was the  editor of Law and Administration Review, and then  from 2006 until 2010 he  presided the editorial board  of the Legislative Review and was a member of the following editorial boards: Recht in Ost und West (Germany 1991-1998), Osteuropa Recht published in Cologne (Germany)  ( since 1998), Humanistic-Scientific Fascicles – Human Rights published  in Katowice (since 2000),  Electoral Studies published in Łódź (since 2006), Kozjogi Szemle ( a quarterly published in Budapest (since 2008); Annales Universitatis Apulensis. Series Jurisprudentia in Alba Julia – Romania (since 2008),  Pravo Ukrainy, a magazine published in Kiev-Ukraine (since 2011), Revista da Facultade de Direito de Sao Bernando do Campo-Sao Paulo, Brazil (since December 2011), Comparative Law Review ( a magazine published by  the Faculty of Law and Administration at M. Kopernik University of Toruń – since June 2013),  Legal Counsel,  Scientific Fascicles (since November 2014), Annual set of the Association of Polish Scientists in Lithuania ( since January 2015).

 

Professor Banaszak was also  a coordinator at the School of German and Polish Law and He held this function in the years 2002-2006 ( a joint undertaking of the law faculties  of the University of Wrocław and Humboldt University of Berlin); in the years 2006-2014 He was a the Dean’s Proxy  in charge of  this school. He was a member of the Steering Committee of the Euro-Faculty in Riga (1992-1998) and held the position of  the Deputy Rector of the Wrocław School of Management and Banking (1999-2002), the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economy (2002) and an expert of the State Accreditation Committee (2010-2014).

The Professor was also  a member of : the Human Rights Advisory Board of the Minister of Internal Affairs (2000-2001), the Program Board of Electoral Studies Centre ( since October 2008) and the International Advisory Directorate of the American Biographical Institute (since 2009).

 

The Professor was   a member  of the following scientific associations:  the  Polish Constitutional Law Association( since  2000) , the European Association of Electoral Law ( since 2004),  the Polish Association of European Law (since 2004), Societas Iuris Publici Europaei ( an international scientific association with the board’s seat in Gottingen (since 2003), the Polish Ombudsman Council (2006-2010), a Honorary Member of the Institute of Interdisciplinary Law at the Faculty of Law  at the University of Porto ( Portugal, since 2006), the European Association of Electoral Law (since 2004) and since 2011 a member of the World Jurist Association.

 

For the past several years the Professor  delivered  lectures in research facilities in Portugal, Switzerland, Hungary, Great Britain, Spain, Ukraine, Italy and Romania. He was  a guest lecturer at universities in the United States of America, Brazil, Chile, Ecuador and Mexico and during the summer term of 1994 he was a guest professor  of the University of Vienna. His research record also includes writing and co-writing of  almost hundred papers  presented at international  scientific conferences in Austria, Brazil, Chile, Germany, Romania, Syria, Switzerland and apart from that, in France, Lithuania and Latvia, also in Hungary, Ukraine, Italy and Taiwan and he is the author of over 300 scientific papers including monographs, manuals, commentaries, studies and articles. Several dozens of the Professor’s works were  published abroad ( in Hungary, Austria, Brazil, Germany, France, Chile, South Korea, Holland, Romania and Italy).  The Professor has translated  into Polish 9 legal books and several dozens papers, first of all from German as well as few from English.

 

The Professor received the Gold Cross of Merit of the Republic of Poland (2001) and the Knight’s Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta ( Order of Rebirth of Poland) (2008)  and the Grand Cross of Merit  of the Republic of Austria (2000), the Grand Gold Decoration of Honour for Services to the Republic of Austria (2007), the Austrian  Cross of Honour for Services to Science  and Arts I class.  He was also honoured with  the Order of Justice 1 degree by the International Bar Association (2011).

He was twice honoured  with Individual Awards  by the Minister of National Education. The awards were granted for  the manual entitled Constitutional Law  (2000) and for the German edition of the Introduction to the Polish Constitutional Law (2004). In the same year he was distinguished with the Leopold Kunschak Prize  for His research on the Austrian law and  constitutional law of democratic  countries and furthermore, He was awarded several dozens  awards granted annually by the Rector of the University of Wrocław for scientific, didactic and organizational  achievements.

 

The Professor supervised 36 doctor’s degree students  (including 5 in Germany) and over 400 master’s degree students.

 

 




Am 9. Januar 2018 ist der ordentliche Professor Dr. hab. Dr h.c. multi Bogusław Banaszak verstorben. Er war der Gründer und Dekan der Rechts- und Verwaltungsfakultät der Universität in Zielona Góra. Er ist ein namhafter Verfassungsprofessor gewesen. Er war ein Mitglied des Gesetzgebungsrates des polnischen Premierminister. Er war auch ein unabhängiger Experte der  Europäischen Charta der kommunalen Selbstverwaltung  des Europarates (Group of Independent Experts on the European Charter of Local Self-Government – Council of Europe) und ein Mitglied der Europäischen Kommission für Demokratie durch Recht, sowie Richter am Staatsgerichtshof.

Prof. B. Banaszak war auch ein Mitglied des Rechtsausschusses der polnischen Wissenschaftsakademie (seit 2011), Korrespondenzmitglied der Spanischen Königlichen Akademie für Moral und Politik (seit 2010) sowie der Europäischen Akademie für Forschung, Kunst und Literatur in Paris (seit 2004).  

Seit 1992 hat er ständig mit der Behörden der Gesetztgebunsorgane des polnischen Parlamentes zusammengearbeitet. Er war auch Autor von ein paar Duzend von Gutachten für den polnischen Sejm und Senat. Er war auch ein Mitglieder der Gesetzgebungskommission im Bereich des Familienrechts, die neben dem polnischen Ombudsmann tätig ist (seit 2013).

Herr Profesor Bogusław Banaszak war auch Doktor honoris causa der Universität in Pecs (Ungarn 2004), der Universität in Alba Julii (Rumänien 2009), der Universität in Pitesti (Rumänien - 2010) und der Rechtsuniversität in Kiev (Ukraine 2011).

Durch den Tod von Herrn Prof. B. Banaszak hat die akademische Gemeinschaft einen großen Verlust erlitten.

Professor Dr Hab. Bogusław Banaszak ist am 3 Februar 1955 in Wrocław geboren worden. Seine Eltern sind Ärzte gewesen. Sein Forschungsschwerpunkt war Verfassungsrecht, Parlamentsrecht, Menschenrechte. Er war der ordentliche Professor an der Universität in Zielona Góra, Dekan der Rechts- und Verwaltungsuniversität (seit 2014), sowie Professor an der Staatlichen Höheren Berufsschule in Legnica (seit 2005). Seit 2014 leitete er auch den Lehrstuhl für Verfassungsrecht an der Universität in Zielona Góra.

In den Jahren 1977 bis 2014 ist er als akademischer Mitarbeiter an der Fakultät für Recht und Wirtschaft an der Universität in Wrocław angestellt gewesen. Anfänglich ist er ein Jahr lang Assistent auf Probe gewesen, dann Assistent und höhere Assistent gewesen. In 1983 hat er den Doktortitel erlangt und ist ab 1984 als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter angestellt gewesen. In 1991 hat er die Habilitation abgeschlossen. In 1994 ist er als außerordentlicher Professor an der Universität in Wrocław angestellt gewesen. In 1998 hat er den ordentlichen Titel des Professors erlangt. In den Jahren 1999-2014 war er ordentlicher Professor an der Universität in Wrocław. In den Jahren 2002-2014 leitete er den Lehrstuhl für Verfassungsrecht an der Universität in Wrocław. In den Jahren 1998-2008 war er Professor an der Fakultät der Europa Universität Viadrina (Frankfurt Oder), wo er den Lehrstuhl für polnisches öffentliches Recht leitete. In den Jahren 1995-2005 war er Professor an der Höheren Managment und Marketing Akademie in Wrocław. Von Mai 2006 bis Mai 2010 leitete er den Gesetzgebungsrat des polnischen Ministerpräsidenten. Seit 2016 war er ein Mitglied dieses Gremiums.

 

Er war Redaktor der Zeitschrift Durchsicht des Rechts und der Verwaltung, die in Wrocław herausgegeben wird (1996-2008). Er war auch Vorsitzender des Redaktionsausschusses der Zeitschrift Durchsicht der Legislative (seit Juni 2006 bis Juni 2010), war Mitglied der Redaktionsgremien der Zeitschrift Recht in Ost und West (Deutschland 1991-1998), Osteuropa Recht, herausgegeben in Köln (Deutschland) (seit 1998); der wissenschaftlichen Zeitschrift der Geisteswissenschaft - Menschenrechte, der Zeitschrift Wahlstudien, herausgegeben in Łodz (seit 2006), Közjogi Szemle, einer Quartalszeitschrift, die in Ungarn herausgegeben wird, Annales Universitatis Apulensis, Series Jurisprudentia in Alba Julii – Rumänien (seit 2008), Recht der Ukraine, Zeitschrift, die in der Ukraine herausgegeben wird (seit 2011), Zeitschrift Revista da Facultade de Direito de Sao Bernando do Campo - Sao Paulo, Brazil, Commparative Law Review (Zeitschrift der Fakultät für Recht und Verwaltung der Mikołaj-Kopernik-Universität in Toruń - seit Juni 2013, der Zeitschrift Rechtsberater, wissenschaftliche Zeitschrift (seit November 2014), des Jahresbuches der Vereinigung der polnischen Wissenschaftler in Litauen (seit 2015).

 

Er war auch Koordinator der Schule des deutschen und polnischen Rechts in den Jahren 2002-2006 (ein gemeinsamer Projekt der Fakultät in Wrocław und der Humboldt Universität in Berlin), in den Jahren 2006-2014 war er auch Bevollmächtigter des Dekans bezüglich dieser Schule. Er war auch ein Mitglied des Vorstandes (Steering Commitee) der Euro-Faculty in Riga (1992-1998). Er hatte auch die Funktion des stellvertretenden Rektors in der Höhere Schule für Managment und Bankwesen in Wrocław (1999-2002), die Funktion des stellvertretenden Dekans der Fakultät für Recht, Verwaltung und Ökonomie (2002) sowie war Expert der staatlichen Akkreditionskommision (2010-2014).  

Darüber hinaus war er ein Mitglied: des Beratungsrates für die Menschenrechte bei dem Außenminister (2000-2001), des Programmrates des Zentrums für Wahlstudien an der Universität in Łódz und der Mikołaj-Kopernik-Universität (seit 2008), ein Mitglied  des Advisory Directorate International des amerikanischen Biografie Institutes (seit 2009).

 

Professor Bogusław Banaszak war auch ein Mitglied von folgenden wissenschaftlichen Vereinen: des polnischen Vereins des Verfassungsrechts (seit 2000), des Europäischen Vereins des Wahlrechts (seit 2004), des Polnischen Vereins des Europarechts (seit 2004), Societas Iuris Publici Europaei (seit 2003), des Rates des polnischen Ombudsmannes (2006-2010). Er war auch ein Ehrenmitglied des Rechtsinstitutes des Interdisziplinärrechts der Rechtsfakultät in Porto (Portugal) (seit 2006), sowie Mitglied der Weltvereinigung der Juristen (seit 2011).

 

In letzten Jahren hat er über 120 Gastvorlesungen an über 20 Universitäten  in Europa (Österreich, Deutschland, Portugal, Schweiz, Ungarn, Großbritanien, Spanien, Ukraine) und in Amerika (U.S.A., Brazil, Chile, Ekquador, Mexiko) gehalten. Im Sommersemester 1994 ist er Gastprofessor an der Universität in Wien gewesen. Er war Autor bzw. Mitautor von über 100 Referaten, die an internationalen Forschungskonferenzen gehalten wurden (Österreich, Brasil, Chile, Frankreich, Litauen, Lettland, Deutschland, Rumänien, Syrien, Schweiz, Ukraine, Ungarn, Italien, Taiwan). Er war auch Autor von über 300 Forschungsarbeiten, darunter sind Monografien, Lehrbücher, Kommentare sowie Studien als auch Artikel aufzuzählen. Viele von ihnen sind im Ausland (Ungarn, Österreich, Brasil, Deutschland, Frankreich, Chile, Südkorea, Holland, Rumänien, in Italien) veröffentlicht worden. Er hat ins Polnische 9 Rechtsbücher sowie mehrere Artikel, hauptsächlich auf Deutsch, sowie ein paar auf Englisch übersetzt.

 

Ihm ist der goldene Orden für die Verdienste Polens ( 2001) und der Ritterkreuz des Ordens Polonia Restituta, der deutsche Bundesverdienstkreuz (2008) sowie der Großer Verdienstkreuz der Republik Österreich (2000), Großes goldenes Verdienstzeichen für die Republik Österreich (2000), das Österreichische Ehrenkreuz der Wissenschaft und der Künste der ersten Klasse, sowie Orden der Gerechtigkeit der Justiz der Weltanwaltsvereinigung (2011) verliehen worden.

Er ist zwei Mal mit der individuellen Auszeichnungen des Ministers für nationale Bildung geehrt worden: im Jahr 2000 für das Lehrbuch Verfassungsrecht und im Jahr 2004 für das in deutscher Sprache herausgegebene Buch Einführung in das polnische Verfassungsrecht. Im selben Jahr erhielt er auch den österreichischen Preis von Leopold Kunschak für die Forschung des österreichischen Rechts und des Verfassungsrechts demokratischer Staaten. Professor Bogusław Banaszak erhielt mehr als ein Dutzend Preise, die jährlich vom Rektor der Universität Wrocław für wissenschaftliche, didaktische und organisatorische Leistungen verliehen werden.

Herr Professor Bogusław Banaszak war der Doktorvater von 36 Doktoren (darunter 5 in Deutschland) sowie 400 Magistraten.
